Danny Robert Worsnop

Danny Robert Worsnop 
(born 4 September 1990) is an English musician. He is the lead vocalist of British metalcore band Asking Alexandria.
Danny co-founded the band with lead guitarist Ben Bruce in 2008. The band has released three studio albums, two EP's, one remix album, and one short film. He has worked with artists such as I See Stars, With One Last Breath and Memphis May Fire,[2] providing guest vocals on several songs. He is also in the process of writing a book, as well as recording a solo album.

Early life


Danny (Robert) Worsnop was born to Sharon and Philip Worsnop on 4 September 1990 at the Beverley Westwood Hospital, East Yorkshire, England. He lived and was brought up in the English countryside in the small village of Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire. He began playing music at the age of six and is able to play the recorder, violin and guitar.

Asking Alexandria (2008–present)

In 2008, Danny Worsnop met guitarist Ben Bruce in Nottingham, and formed Asking Alexandria. Yet, the two had become friends via the internet prior to meeting in person. The band creator, Ben Bruce, recruited Danny Worsnop, initially, as the rhythm guitarist for the band. However, it was later determined that Worsnop would instead perform as lead vocals. Asking Alexandria's debut album, entitledStand Up and Scream, was released on 15 September 2009, through Sumerian Records. The album's title is derived from the chorus of the album's second track "The Final Episode (Let's Change the Channel)". The album peaked at 170 on the Billboard 200, 29 on Top Independent Albums, and 5 on Top Heatseekers.
Asking Alexandria's second studio album entitled Reckless & Relentless was released on 5 April 2011, via Sumerian Records. The album's title is derived from the title track "Reckless & Relentless". The album peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200.
Asking Alexandria's third studio entitled From Death to Destiny was released on 6 August 2013, via Sumerian Records.
